About me
My interest in hypnotherapy began whilst I was studying for my degree in psychology with music. I was suffering from stage fright when performing as a classical singer and found hypnotherapy to be extremely positive and effective in managing my fear. Whilst studying psychology, I became very interested in the way in which the mind creates anxiety and how this can be effectively treated. I therefore decided to continue my studies of the mind by going on to gain a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy.
I am on the General Hypnotherapy Register, as well as being a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapists and Association for Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists. This means that I have to adhere to very strict professional guidelines, which also involves taking part in Continual Professional Development, thus ensuring that I am up-to-date with the very latest researched techniques.
I very much enjoy allowing clients to see clearly the solutions to problems which have previously seemed too difficult to solve. Having hypnotherapy myself for both stage fright and weight loss, I have experienced first hand the enormous benefits that hypnotherapy, combined with psychotherapy, can give.
